INGREDIENTS
1 cob of sweet-corn, husk removed
1 teaspoon of water (or fresh breast milk or formula)

METHOD
1. Half fill a small saucepan with water, bring it to the boil, and add in the corn cob.

2. Simmer briskly over medium heat for about 10 minutes – or until soft – then turn off the heat and drain the corn.

3. Set the corn cob upright on a chopping board, hold it firmly, and run a sharp knife down against the inner core to cut off the kernels.

4. Add a teaspoon of fresh water (or fresh breast milk or formula) and use a stick blender to puree the corn kernels until smooth. Add more liquid if needed to get a creamy consistency.
