INGREDIENTS
2 ripe kiwi fruit
2 large ripe pears
1 tablespoon of raisins

METHOD
1. Peel and chop the kiwi fruit.

2. Peel the pears then cut into quarters and remove the cores.

3. Put plenty of water in the base of a steamer and bring to the boil over high heat.

4. Place the pears and raisins in the top section, put on the lid, and steam the fruit over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until soft. Reserve the liquid in the steamer.

5. Put the chopped kiwi and the poached pears and raisins into a bowl, add a little of the reserved liquid and blend to a puree with a stick blender – adding small amounts of the liquid to get the desired consistency.
